What is the Tank Easy Environmental and Tank Protection Program? |

It is an environmental clean up program that Hart & Iliff Fuel and Energy Systems is offering to our customers that will provide $100,000 for clean up costs and $2,000 for a new storage tank if your existing tank accidentally leaks.

What do you mean by clean up costs? |
|
Clean up costs are the charges associated with removing oil from your property.
|

What about my old tank? |
|
If you tank has leaked the program provides up to $2,000 to replace the old tank and piping.

What happens if the oil has migrated to my neighbor's property? |
|
The Tank Easy Environmental and Tank Protection Program will only clean up your property. Once the tank release has been confirmed, you should immediately call your homeowner's insurance company to determine if they offer coverage to clean up the ground water or if the oil has migrated off your property.

Does the Program include monitoring of my tank? |
|
Tank Easy is the first Tank Protection Program to include annual testing of your oil tank. These test results will be available in a database which can be shared with banks, insurance companies or potential buyers. Annual testing makes it very likely that your tank will be replaced before a problem develops.

Do I have to pay anything if my tank leaks? |
|
The deductible is $1,000.
|

Do I have to have my tank tested to get the Program? |
|
Yes in most cases a tank test is required for Program eligibility.

|

Do I have to wait before my tank is eligible? |
|
If you do not have existing coverage you are eligible following a tank test, site inspection and approval.

If I want to voluntarily replace my tank, what must I do? |
|
You must give 72 hours notice prior to voluntarily removing or replacing your tank.
|

What is the cost of this Program? |
|
For an underground tank the cost is $225 annually. For an above ground tank the cost is $95 annually.
